![]() ![]() I've not received a single penny from the rewards offered through the extension. Do not bother with using this if you think you'll get rewards from your purchases outside of the standard 1% or whatever your card offers. And guess who is paying the extension editor to do that? Mind again before addin browser extensions!" And here is another one: "You can maybe find coupons that still work about 30% of the time if that. And just about the service provided: this kind of extensions (lots of similar exist like this one) can modify the webpages on-the-fly and also can censure some parts or search results to guide you to buy to a specific seller instead of a concurrent. That's desguished spyware in counterpart to provide you a pretended nice service. I have tried as well and share the same feelings: "Avoid this kind of extensions that can collect what you are looking on the internet, it's just collecting informations on you to profile you and similar customers to target ads/products/services. Here are some reviews from some other users which I am 100% with them. Spyware and a Cyber discussion topic with my students I can factually back this statement up with screenshots. And, I DO HAVE screenshots of the phony Capital One message as well as the charge they put on my 'problem' AmEx card. It's not much UNTIL you think about how many Millions of people they have using this service. And we're only talking about $11.13 here. Then they don't pay off on the savings that we accumulate. Tell me how this isn't a SCAM? They get my data from online shopping and I'm sure they monetize it (either sell it, or use it themselves). So, I decide to try it again and the same thing happens. I'm sitting here looking at the charge on my AmEx right now. Please try adding a different card and try again" on the CapitalOne site. THEN, I got a "There was a problem with your payment method. So, I put in my info and they made the charge on my AmEx (I immediately visited the AmEx site to verify this). The message says something like 'we'll make a charge for $1 and immediately remove it, it's just to verify your identity'. They ask for your credit card so they can "verify your identity". Well, here's where the dishonesty comes into play. I've been using their browser extension for quite a while now (probably a year or longer) and just went to redeem my 'savings' to purchase a Walmart gift card. I didn't spend money on Amazon but used their service, as the result I paid more, spent tons of time and nervous! Some items I bought cause Capitalone shopping offered me a good % cash back. I read at Better Business Bureau (BBB) some reviews from other guys, guess what? This is a regular practice for them! You will accumulate some good sum, then they will give you a gift card with 0 balance. Tango Cards told to call to eBay again, eBay told to contact CapitalOne shopping, Capitalone shopping doesn't reply. After ~1 week they replied that I need to contact some Tango Cards that sells them gift cards. I contacted Capital One shopping by email since no Phone at all. I contacted eBay, they told that can't help since not eBay provided the Gift card. They sent me it, but it is not working, it shows the balance 0. As the result accumulated $126 and ordered eBay gift card. I worked with them for years, started from Wikibuy. I worked with them for years they SCAMed me for $126 ![]()
